潮州市颐陶轩潮州窑博物馆位于潮州市湘桥区太平路（古城牌坊街）70号，临近潮州府学故址，是清代潮阳县古汀乡的“陈氏试馆”之所在，1987年扩建为5层大楼，建筑物面积共1085平方米；2009年潮州市颐陶轩陶瓷文化艺术研究所迁至此。
潮州市颐陶轩潮州窑博物馆于2012年9月正式成立于此，是一家专门收藏、研究、展示、宣传潮州窑的研究型博物馆，藏品涵盖自新石器时期至今的潮州窑器物及相关文献资料近万件，具有较高的历史、艺术、科学的研究价值。
本馆常设潮州窑历史基本陈列及多个专题展览，是国内外专业人士认识潮州窑历史的平台。立足于藏品，本馆出版了一系列专著，开发了具有潮州窑特色的陶瓷文创产品。自开馆以来，本馆长期坚持免费开放，为国内外大众呈现出鲜活的潮州陶瓷文明，接待并得到了广大专家学者的青睐与首肯，获得广东省非国有博物馆运营优良等级。目前，我馆被获准设立广东省博士工作站、潮州市人才驿站颐陶轩分站及被评为广东省社会科学普及基地、潮州市人文社会科学普及基地等。
通过一系列潮州窑历史藏品的保护与传承，为增强中华文明传播力影响力，讲好中国故事、传播好中国声音，展现可信、可爱、可敬的中国形象，推动中华文化更好走向世界做出了应有的贡献。
The Yitaoxuan Chaozhou Kiln Museum in Chaozhou City is located at No. 70, Taiping Road (Memorial Archway Street in Ancient City ), Xiangqiao District, Chaozhou City, close to the former site of Chaozhou prefectural schools. It is the location of the "Chen's Test Hall" in Guting Township, Chaoyang County, in the Qing Dynasty. In 1987, it was expanded to a five stored building with a total building area of 1085 square meters In 2009, the Yitaoxuan Ceramic Culture and Art Research Institute in Chaozhou City moved here.
The Yitaoxuan Chaozhou Kiln Museum in Chaozhou City was officially established here in September 2012. It is a research oriented museum dedicated to collect, research, showcase, and promote Chaozhou kilns. Its collection covers nearly 10000 Chaozhou kiln artifacts and related literature materials from the Neolithic period to the present, with high historical, artistic, and scientific research value.
Our museum has a permanent basic display of the history of Chaozhou Kiln and multiple thematic exhibitions, providing a platform for domestic and foreign experts to understand the history of Chaozhou Kiln. Based on the collection, our museum has published a series of monographs and developed cultural and creative ceramic products with Chaozhou kiln characteristics. Since its opening, our museum has been adhering to free access for a long time, presenting a vibrant Chaozhou ceramic culture to the domestic and international public . We have received the favor and approval of a large number of experts and scholars, and have won the excellent operation level of non-state-own museums in Guangdong Province. At present, our museum has been approved to establish Guangdong Provincial Doctoral Workstation, Chaozhou Talent Station Yitaoxuan Branch, and has been rated as Guangdong Provincial Social Science Popularization Base, Chaozhou Humanities and Social Sciences Popularization Base, etc.
Through the protection and inheritance of a series of historical collections from Chaozhou Kiln, we manage to made our contributions to illustrate from local perspective the Chinese civilization, stories, which are essential parts of the trustworthy, lovely, and respectable image of China.
